Daler-Rowney Purified Poppy Oil 75ml
Artists' oil colours consist of pigments blended into an oil base, offering a smooth and gradual drying paint. Owing to their nature, oil paints do not mix with water and require turpentine, white spirit, or gentle thinners for dilution. This purified poppy oil serves as a clear medium that lightens colours without overpowering them. It yellows less than Linseed Oil, though it takes longer to dry. By improving gloss and fluidity, it provides a superior finish; however, using too much can delay drying, so balance is key for the best results.
